    [attachment=0:ddamax0w]IMG_1096[1].jpg[/attachment:ddamax0w]925771669.regular customer rang today saying fridge(top)door has come off.i dont do refrigeration but feel obliged to help her.can anyone tell me whats involved in repairing this.it has come apart at bottom hinge on top door.will try upload photo she sent me.paul

    Think that part screws up through hinge into bottom of door. Likely bottom of door is damaged/broken, or just may have worked loose if you’re lucky.

    thanks Seamy.had a look this morning.bolt went through metal hinge and threaded into plastic bearing pads.top and bottom pads worn so will have to order new ones.hopefully they can be bought without forking out for new hinges.thanks again

    Had one similar recently where the previous tenant had lost the bolt and fitted a wooden dowel. Of course it lasted about 1 day with the new tenant…. I would have a hatred of tenants if they did not give me so much work….

    tenants are good for business.had one recently where previous tenant took motor for beko wm with him.i went out to a no drum action fault only to find motor gone.
