I know this is the diverter valve but the fault is the word of the customer. I couldn’t verify it.
Trying to do the test sequence I got to F1 but it wouldn’t start the test.
Could it be the cycling pump at fault also as in the test procedure?
    Thanks

what happens if you just start a wash program? I personally never bother with the test prog, set a glass wash, close the flap and start up.
checked for water in the base? look for slight leak evidence under the diverter valve, only takes a drop of water on the switch in the valve to cause all sorts of issues.

Hi Mark, can’t start a programme as it is now stuck on F1. Tried shutting door with it on and off, holding the prog button, everything I can think of but no change. This is the first Smeg since the old Servis dishwashers were made by them so no previous.
Will check for a water leak.

check carefully for an earth leak however small, unplug the circ pump motor, see if that frees off the pcb. dito the alt valve. As she reported a E8 first then I would suspect that.
