had a burning smell and fuse blown and found the mains cable plug where it plugs in the back of the dishwasher burnt out. the connection is part of the pcb and caused by internal water leak from somewhere, as dishwasher unable to be operated without a new pcb and mains cable-unable to find out where leak was from. Its gonna be expensive to repair, only a few months out of the 2 year guarantee. Anybody else had this fault on these new platform dishwashers?

Yes, had a slug caused short down there, documented on this site somewhere if you do a search.

Looks like that slug’s still alive and slurping up the carbon!
BTW, how do you prevent that headlamp falling off your head every time you bend forward?

    😀
I only used it on my head once and felt such a pillock, its a good bright torch though and its shape makes it very pointable when laid down. Bought 5 of them from CPC at stupid money so no bother when i loose one.

keep your dishwasher salt around the back of the appliance. :clown:

Never seen one of these modules burnt, only the odd failure. But I guess a slug is not covered by the warranty. 😉
