Small block ad (costs around £160) would suffice to keep you listed in there. The trouble is that unless you at least show your business somewhere in your local Yellow Pages, many assume you’ve gone out of business! 😯
Maintain your profile but with minimal outlay. 😀

Lots of pensioners still use it and they can be worthwhile, loyal customers I find.
My rep has assured me the cost is actually dropping this year so will probably keep an ad running for now.

Not for me either – Left them in 2007 due to a lack of calls, went back in 2010/11 Book and Yell.com and no difference.

I haven’t advertised in the yellow pages since 1991, but I’m rushed of my feet. I haven’t spent much on advertising for years. I give customers a few cards and ask them to pass them onto friends and neighbours. My local shops including dry cleaners and the local launderette give my cards out to persons in need. Facebook and Which Local are working well at the moment finding me new customers and it doesn’t cost me a penny. I even get the business cards for free as my local printer does not pay when his washing machine breaks down. Word of month has saved me a fortune over the years.

Give it a miss and you’ll never look back! Too many different classifications in yellow pages too, appliance repairs, washer repairs, cooker repairs, dryer repairs, vacuum repairs blah blah blah, money money money.

I think Yell.com is worth a punt but the directory is not good value for money

Agree , yell. Com works, but I just keep a small ad in the book
Think the book is becoming a thing of the past -
