    Been out to this today customer has changed plug top and socket cover as plug top terminals and socket were burned. However plug is still very hot when it has been plugged in for a few seconds. Visual check of heater seems ok and have checked voltage to heater which also seems ok. Any ideas please? Cheers kez

    As a general rule the heat is where the fault is. Is the new plug to BS standards?
