I have a Bosch WFL 2000 washing machine that has worked faultlessly for nearly 5 years.
Now, on occasions, It will go through its cycle but just before the spin it will stop and the “active’ light will start to flash. If I press the start button it will then complete the spin and finish normally.
This only happens when using the fast spin and the machine works ok when using the slow one.
Check pump filter is completely clear, also any drain coupling to sink. At 5 years old the drive motor carbon brushes may well be worn and the machine may becoming reluctant to spin. Definitely worth checking out.
i have a bosch wfl 2000 washing machine , i have used it for several years without any problem recently it stopped working and all the lights stayed.
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ?
Most likely it’s a pump blockage (in filter) or the pump itself has failed 🙁
Check to see if the pump impellor rotates freely and shows no signs of wear.
