Am I correct in thinking there is an issue with front bearing housings on some Beko cond dryers?
If so could anyone please tell me if this model could be affected ?

the belt can be fitted in 15 mins, the mod to stop it snapping again is a full rebuild and very expensive if its out of warranty.

Luckly new drum in this one, so didn’t require modification 8)
Found the job a little tricky as it’s my first beko cond belt but I’m sure i could get quicker on them.

    thanks for the input.

dont know which way you done it Allan but heres my way, 3 screws out of top, remove top, remove all the back screws but not the heater cover screws, remove the pump hoses from the top, pull the back compleate with the drum out just enough to release the heater and thermistor plugs, slip the belt on over the front of tub, and reverse, job done.

    Re: Beko DRCS68W broken belt

Got same machine and belt has snapped after fitting new one 2 weeks ago. This time going back with front bearing felt as well.

    Serial No. 09204584-10

What method should be used to stretch belt over motor pulley?

I levered down with a screwdriver under motor bracket last time. I presume there must be a better way?

I use a 13mm socket on an extension bar and ratchet handle. Out socket over pulley, force ratchet handle down and turn and the belt slips on.
