    Hi there

    The HFT light has been coming on & off for the last week and the freezer temperature is not getting cold enough. When I put the fast freeze on, the temp light may go out after 12 hrs but will come on and go off ad hoc.

    I have run the test where you open fridge & hold fast freeze, then close the door and the fastfreeze will flash once, then HFT on for few secs, then HFT on few secs then fast freeze flash twice & so on. I have been told that if the HTL stays on for 3 seconds each time, which it does, then there isnt a problem with the thermostat?

    The next step is im going to remove plastic cover in freezer & see if build up behind there, and defrost for 24 hrs.

    Is this a common problem? Could it be the thermofuse?

    The fan appears to be working fine, and fridge is ok.

    Please can anyone help, or have you come across this before?

    Prob frozen up, it will need a full defrost if frozen make sure the drain hole is clear
