    Machine is a 64810 pnc 914 003 432 00.
    Customer complained that its showing E60 and he can’t select any programme other than spin. The guy is a mates Dad and an ex electrical engineer so got the questions and coins in pocket treatment all the tinme I was there 👿 .
    When I arrived it pumps constantly and gets E20 as soon as the programme starts but no water is in the machine and p/switch seems fine. Everything meggering ok, heater fine and so on. Points to the pcb to me unless a AEG bod out there had this one before 🙂 . Had a similar thing on a Zanussi a couple of years ago doing just this and after a few tries it turned out to be a common board type fault.

    Heater down to earth most likely…

    E60 = HEATING FAULT, could be board fault but i’d be changing the heater first.

    Heater is around 7meg to earth. I’ll give it a shot but presumed that would be fine.

    Just re-read my TDS for E20. Heater shorting to earth is a poss. cause so I will try again on Monday. Thanks Seamy.
