Hi, got Miele W1716 YoungVision.
And it’s without one chip (it’s exploded)

Theres a 5 year warranty on these. Have you discovered what caused the chip to “explode”?

Hi, the missing component is a Philips TEA1522T. I found one on eBay as I have an identical board with the same problem, however mine had also blown a capacitor on the other side of the board, and also a tiny transistor on the same side as the TEA1522T, which is just to the right and below the printed word ‘Miele’ near the barcode sticker. Although I have now replaced these components, my board is still dead, so don’t hold out too much hope of this component being the only one at fault… Here is a link to the eBay listing (Hong Kong seller, but reached me in UK in 7 days)… Please let me know how you get on!
