Problem with dryer is that all the water from the clothes is collecting in the bottom of the dryer where the condenser is located and not going to the water container. The empty water light comes which i corrected by removing water where the float is. I also removed the pump and gave it a clean but still no water being removed properly. Is the pump faulty? or is there a problem eleswhere?

If IRC this is is the model with the upper collection drawer… Turn the machine on making sure there is some water in the float area then remove the pipe from the rear of the collection drawer … by doing this you can safely see if the pump is operating correctly

Yes upper collection drawer, water always in the float area until i empty it. just did what u said no water getting pumped out. also left the pump out doesn’t seem to be working. Does the little bit inside supposed to spin round if working.

Then I would advise you to Find An Engineer ..
The problem may just be with the pump; but the it could also be a switching or power supply problem.Re: Hotpoint CTD00t Condenser Dryer not collecting water

I now have a working tumble dryer, replaced the water pump and now the water is going where it should, upto the water container.
