Hello all, hope someone can help me with my problem.
I have a Hotpoint FDL 570 and it will start a wash cycle but it stops after 8 mins or so. No flashing lights, just the end light. The soap is not even dispensed.

I cleaned all filters and consulted the instruction manual but this fault wasn’t listed.
Can someone help me with this fault and point me in the right direction?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Without any error codes flashing it would be pure guesswork from here, safe to say that this Indesit machine has lots of potential weak points, heater, main circulation pump, control PCB, weak wiring etc, etc.

I could point you in the right direction but you wouldn’t like my suggestion. 😉

If the On/Off light and the End light are flashing then it is a thermistor or module fault.

I know the machine well. I would change the module. If it doesn’t show a fault then normally it’s the module. Does the machine fill and circulate in those first few minutes?

Bear in mid that a module will cost you approx £60, the smart card needed to programme the new module £15 and the card reader to use the card to programme the module around £95+.

Don’t you just love Indesit Company products. :rolls:

You are covered by a five year parts guarantee, the Indesit Company will do the repair for £104.97 all in, as long as you resist the pressure to pay the extra £60 for a further 12 months warranty. 😉
