LG F1402FDS6 Smell

    Hi, working on above machine, when you enter the room when its on there is a an electrical smell bit like you woulg get smelling back of an old tv 😆 , have had lid and back off nothing obvious, all connections seem ok motor fairly cool, apart from module in base plastic outer seems quite hot, trouble is when your in with it for a few minutes it hard to smell the smell? any known issues with this?

    The plug connector on the door lock is a first stop for burning smell for me on those, if not then the main “power in” connector on the lower pcb.

    Thanks will investigate further, with the board connector, is this available as a spare? So long as no damage to board I guess

    At the board it’s usually a dry joint on the pcb that burns out not the connector itself and as the board is coated in resin you cant get to it to repair it or i’ve never been able too anyways.
