    Not really our sort of job but good customer.

    got a HUEBSCH LWZ17NWB3069 top load machine. looks like speed queen or maytag.about 8 months old, says only parts guaranteed!.

    seems to do everything but spin. motor runs and drum turns fine but only at very slow spin, about distribution speed, but wont step up to the faster speed. tried empty and with load. all looks new with no signs of burning on field coils.
    any help would be great.

    These machines use the old fashioned style dog clutch on the drive pulley, so make sure the pulley is free to slide up the shaft. It could be a gearbox fault, but its a rare fault.

    These motors don’t step up, as they run at full speed straight away
