ParticipantGot a friend who’s miles and miles out in the sticks up hill, down dale and the machine is in a utility room which used to be the smallest room in the house and still is, has a t/d on top (+ that infernal bracket thing between) and has to be lifted over the washbasin to get it out. Grrr.
Did bearings on it couple of months ago. Get msg yesterday; not draining. Direct him to filter in which he finds a 2″ clump of fluff. Clears that and machine works OK again for one wash but on subsequent washes still not spinning out. Direct him back to filter, nothing there and has checked draining in less than one min on drain only.
Told him to watch it through a spin – says it lasts for abt 5 mins including build up and never really gets up to speed.
Thought if I could tell him which buttons to press maybe I can get an error code. So anybody got the diagnostics please?

My guess is that there still is yet more fluff acting like a valve blocking the sump hose. 😉

Yes, that is more or less what I am thinking too. Possibly the pressure switch(es?) are getting a corrupted signal.

Now ain’t that a wonderment, technology eh. Let’s face it this Interweb lark has opened up a new world to all. Imagine how isolated Benbecula would be without the Internet?
Mind you, imagine also how isolated Benbecula (and all of Scotland for that matter) will be if Alex Salmond gets his way? :eeek:

I hate to think of Alex Samond getting his way 😆
Internet is magic as I am know progressing to ordereing from Asda on line (delivery takes 2 days if all is well).n But even this supposed broadband can be very slow on times. Now looking at twoway satellite broadband which can deliver up to 20meg. Now thats fast for here
