    Customer has a SGS43T92GB/37 dishwasher, and says it uses all the salt in 3 days. Ah Ha I thinks , it needs a regeneration valve (166875). But the customer says all the crockery has a white crust on it, and tastes of salt.

    Any suggestions please as to the fault?

    I presume that you have checked that the seal on the cap is OK and the cap is not cracked

    ……and, have you actually replaced that valve!

    Cap and seal is OK

    No. I dont want to replace it if it doesn’t cure the salty crockery as well

    Just an odd thought….is the customer putting the salt in the salt pot?

    Uses up salt in 3 days… :hmm:
    Crockery covered in the stuff… :hmm:
    Suspect salt valve (the gadget that allows salt to flow freely)… :hmm:
