    hi,reported fault on this washer dryer is machine dead,theres power in right to the door interlock and thro it,altho no light on display at all,it has 3 pcb”S,with the large one down the back,any ideals would be grateful

    just to note both facia boards iv checked visably and are fine,same with the large 1 down the back which i have replaced on other machines but generally with a spin fault

    Is it the big power board with a row of heavy duty terminals all along one short side? If so, did you pull that connector off and make absolutely sure there was nothing going on around that? Probably in the connector itself.

    Ask customer if there was a light on display before the trouble started. If there’s power getting through from door lock to light (phase side I presume) try tracing the neutral path both from mains plug and from neutral side of light.
    If it’s worth the time and trouble, and that’s rather a big if, I’d get a power module off EMW on sale or return before going back. If you do that though, you need to make sure there are no other issues (motor, heater, lock, pump) before fitting as they won’t refund you if it gets damaged.
