    Hi,

I’m looking to buy a new dishwasher as our old one (AEG Favorit 5050) appears to have packed up. It’s been looking like breaking for a while and now won’t turn on. Our guess is that as it’s around 10 years old it has probably reached its life expectancy.

We’re therefore looking for a new one. It needs to be integrated and the space for it in the kitchen is around 60cm wide by 85 cm high.

Pricewise looking to spend around £500 but can stretch up to about £750 if that will get us a much better machine. We don’t need a rolls royce but want something that should last 5 plus years and clean to a good standard.

If anyone has any recommendations we’d be very keen to hear them.

Also if anyone fits dishwashers in London EC1 and would be able to help us install this please let us have your contact details and we’ll get in touch for a quote. (I had a quick look on the site but no one seems to be based around central London so not sure how keen they are to come in for this kind of job).

    Thanks very much in advance

    Chris

That would indeed be your best move. In fact any local fitted kitchen specialist in your area to no doubt assist in supplying and fitting a suitable replacement. Don’t skimp on cost either, anything sub £500 is best avoided.

Or…you could contact Serviceforce and get your local AEG guy to fix it, never say never…!! 😀

    Thanks Martin.

I’ll look around for a local fitted kitchen specialist.

I think we will go down the replacement route as there have been a few niggles with the old machine prior to its giving up.

Willing to go above £500 to get a decent machine – do you have any recommendations to narrow down the search?

    Thanks

    Chris
