After complaints from the Mrs I noticed my Bosch dishwasher wasn’t taking enough water.
After a bit of research I took the side panel off and cleaned the water matrix and the presssure chamber.The water appears to be going in fine now, but the motor never kicks in. It just keeps emptying a bit of water then taking a bit more. It just carries on doing this.
The model is SGS4012GB/12

Sounds like the pipe from the matrix/pressure chamber into the dishwasher is still blocked so water is backing up as it’s filling and cutting off the flood protect switch.
Look for a whiteish tube that goes round in front of the drain pump from the pressure chamber.
