    Went to a Hotpoint BHWM129 today (Integrated washing machine) the machine will fill with some water it then pumps a small amount out and just sits silent “no drum movement” for about 5 min than pumps out the rest of the water the motor will run on spin.

    after it has pumped out on a failed wash cycle the top led flashes amber.

    Heater is OK, thermistor is OK all connections are secure thought it might be the pressure switch but that appears to be OK.

    Has anyone else come across this fault and found a solution?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Top light ( Prewash ) is not used for error codes, first thing to do is to megger the fill valves.
