    I have got a second hand Stoves American Fridge Freezer which I am assured is only 18 months old however the water /ice dispenser had never been connected.I have connected it correctly and it now works however the water dispenser continues to run for 10+ seconds after the switch is released – very frustrating and messy!!
    Can anyone help with what the problem might be and how to fix it. Thanks Trevor.

    Could be the water solenoid valve sticking,possibly a result of not being used for a while.High water pressure might also be a possibility,valve struggles to shut off supply.
    Valve is at rear just after the water supply connection,SWITCH OFF beofre investigating.

    May be some air in the water tank.
    Run off a bucket full without stopping and it should clear.
