    Hi All

    Woke up this morning to find my F*{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}kin amana fridge freezer at -10 in the fridge…Not a happy bunny , Used for less than 1 yr . knew I should have kept my old mechanical amana @ 28 yrs old and put it in the new kitchen.

    Model : AC2228HEKB
    Serial : 12980771LN

    Haven’t bothered to look see if it’s the whirlpool pcb yet as I don’t normally work on the whirlpool. Any guides here…

    Think i’m gonna order some new door seals and door liner for my old one in the garage and get rid of this heap of S&^t.

    Its not a whirlpool, sounds like usual damper fault, plenty on here about it

    Hi Brian

    I have fixed a couple of new type Amana and the problem has just been a spring loose on the damper flap.

    The damper flap stays open as the return spring shuts the damper.

    The make is now Maytag

    I am not sure on your model but most Matag now use the same damper flap
