    just fitted a softener into one of these ,now the machine seems to be locked up ,wont reset ,wont start or anything ,I checked all the blocks etc
    any ideas

    Does the model show signs of a blown triac or something of the sort?

    not that I can see ,I am assuming the board has failed ,its the one mounted in the base
