    Hi all!
    I’m in France and have the machine specified in the subject.
    I have the now traditional programme knob clicking round incessantly while the power LED flashes intermittently 8 times in a row.
    On various forums I have seen posts about 5, 13 and 15 flashes but never 8…
    Could anyone help?
    I emptied the pump trap and found 2 large buttons and a 50 cent coin and it seemed to work. I set off a rinse programme and it went through seemingly normally until the spin, at which point it went into flashing & turning dial mode again. It now does this as soon as it is switched on.
    Is there a way of resetting the error code apart from disconnecting the power supply?
    I would appreciate any advice.

    I personally do not now attend to this particular fault.

    The success rate in clearing this fault is such that I will not waste my time and money trying to fix it having been left out of pocket several times in the past.

    If you use the ‘advanced search’ facility and enter F08 in the search box and read all the Ariston/Indesit/Hotpoint related threads you will get some idea. 😉

    I had done searches using model numbers but never F08…
