    My Zanussi Amie is washing fine but keeps getting stuck in the spin cycle particularly if doing a half load. This has happened several times. Today stopped during spin cycle and couldn’t get the programme to cancel so that I could I open the machine. Left it for a while and then it did let me cancel the programme. The machine is over 6 years old. Is it basically on its way out?

    Can you supply the model number for this appliance? Usually on the control panel, or check the label around the door opening. There are so many Zanussi variants that it is almost impossible to give an opinion!
