ParticipantHi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out with a problem on the above dishwasher. You can reset the programme and start it off as normal. It does it’s little purge thingy and then starts to fill properly. After about a minute or so, before it reaches what I would expect to be the normal fill level, it aborts with a beep, empties out and leaves the LEDs in the following configuration: the 3 left ones flashing and the right hand one on permanently. I’ve checked what I could get to without removing the dishwasher completely – heater OK,manual TOC OK, thermistor OK(17Kohms approx), drain pump OK, module looks OK.
Any ideas? Anybody…………. ❓Dave

KeymasterSounds like the old E2 to me Dave.
Check the side chamber is clear, i.e. no gunk in it as that will cause the error.
The light sequence I’ll need to check in the morning for you, or Dave will once I’m near a machine with tech info on it.

That’s an E7 fault on a five led pcb.
A straightforward reset should do the trick on this one:
With the door open, turn the appliance on and, within three seconds, push 4 times on the program
selection button – The test program has been selected if the SOAK and STRONG pilot lamps are
flashing. This LED combination represents the test program for appliances that have a flow meter.
If, after applying the reset procedure, the above indication is not shown on the display, switch the
ppliance off and commence the reset procedure again, from the beginning. a
Once the two outer LED’s are illuminated, as above, push on the program selection button once to
select the version “without flow meter” and check that the pilot lamp of the SOAK indicator is off, as
indicated below.
To complete the procedure, do not close the door, simply switch the appliance off. After a short
elay, 10 to 15 seconds, switch the appliance back on and test on a SOAK program.Appologies for the translation 😉

Thanks Dave. I’ll give it a try. Incidentally, what is an E7? (I know what E1,2,3,5 & 6 are).

E7 is a software error where the PCB is expecting to find a flow meter when there actually isn’t one in the machine 😕
Don’t ask me why though 😉
