    Hi,
    Just discovered this forum while searching for answers.
    My Hoover washing machine has decided not to pump the water away.
    I have checked for blockages etc and cant find any.
    When i put the dial to spin all i hear is a single click and then nothing, normally the pump would start pumping.
    So my question is, is it the pump thats dead or could it be a problem with the programmer.

    Well noone can answer that question for you without seeing your machine or getting you to test supply volage to the pump.

    You can get someone to come look at your machione for you from Find An Engineer

    Thanks for your reply but i cant afford an engineer right now thats why i am trying to fix it myself.
