wiring an oven cooling fan switch

I purchased an AEG/Electrolux cooling fan switch from white goods, and fitted it but the fan does not come on and the oven trips out on over temp as prior to identifying the switch and fan were u/s, the fan will run when directly wired as the original switch had disintergrated, but it runs constantly when there is power to the unit. On the image of the installation of the switch in situ there are 2 blue wires to the fan i have 1 white from the loom and the other was connected to the switch, has anyone any idea if this is the fault, or where the 2 blue and 2 whites off the switch should be connected ? thanks kevin
