Introducing Einstein

It’s my codename for a little project I’m thinking on how to do and, you may as well know even although I’m trying to keep it under wraps.

What I’m not going to do is explain how the magic is done or, in fact, much of anything other than what I absolutely have to tell you. For now.

You’re privy to some info that is not and, will not, be in the “public” domain for many months at best and after I’ve solved some other more pressing issues I have or more, want, to solve.

Einstein is a system to pull all known information that we have on a particular model or issue. Collate it, narrow it and deliver it.

That’s the most basic description I can give of what I have in my head. It goes way beyond that of course but this is the brass tacks of it.

It’s not even fully designed yet in all honesty as I’m far more interested in other stuff for the moment. But, if I have my way, it will float up to the top later in 2012.

Part of this is the headers or, as you know them, topic titles in the trade tech forum, the more accurate the topic is the more accurately we can pull and deliver the information on whatever. In the meanwhile it makes the “related topics” massively more useful to all. What it does, in effect, is build a mammoth technical library of known issues and resolutions that may save money, time and a whole heap of effort.

I would appreciate it if we could keep this information in here only for now so I can test it later with you guys.

What I can tell you is that, if I have my way, 2012 will be interesting. 😉
