Went to this yesterday with a report of no heat.
Took off the back panel to check the heater and stats – all good
Switched it on to check it and noticed only then that the belt was snapped…
I’m pretty sure though that when i turned it on the heater worked until i realised i had a belt problem.
Either way, I got a new belt and front felt and replaced both this morning and now there is no heat, no power going to the heater.
Took the board out and inspected it, nothing obvious. checked wiring – all good.
Checked the stat at the front behind the facia and its good.
I’d be surprised if it was the board as i’m 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that it was heating before i went at it and it didn’t get damaged during the belt change.

Also, when i put it on timed heat (40 mins) to test it it stopped after about 5 mins and had the following lights on steady: ‘clean filter, water tank full, end/anticrease’ and the ‘drying’ light flashing – not sure if this is a fault code or just signaling and of cycle!

I tried to put it on the test programme from the fault code guide but it didn’t really do it exactly as per the text, it didn’t show up any faults either but it still didn’t heat.

Can anyone think of anything i may have missed?

I know i connected the heater plugs but tbh i never rechecked them after i put it all back together and noticed it wasn’t heating, it’s the only thing i didn’t recheck so hopefully thats it.
    I’ll let you know tmro.
