    Hi,
This is my first post so be gentle,Our dishwasher is about 12/13 years old and has been very reliable, but the other evening i put it on and after about 20 mins noticed that it seemed very quiet,i then saw that the dial was just before the end of the wash cycle, and there was like a clicking noise coming from the timer area.
I tried to move it on to the rinse cycle but nothing happened,i then removed the door to expose the timer, under neath the rotary knob there is a round unit and that is where the clicking noise is coming from.
I also noticed that there was water in the bottom of the dishwasher so i emptied the water and tilted the dishwasher up at about 45 degrees and water came out of the rear of the machine i then tried to switch it back on but i still have the same problem.
Searched the net but this model does not seem to appear very much.
    Any thoughts?
    Regards,
    Peter.

No quick easy answer on this Peter I’m afraid. Water in the base almost certainly means a filling/overfilling problem has occurred. So a good clean out of the sump hose, float switch and other bits needs attention. Once that is remedied the inlet hose supply needs bleeding (i.e disconnecting then reconnecting).

The above advice may help you on this for starters but other issues may come into play on this old beast I cannot foresee based on what you have told us so far anyway.

Best of luck sorting it. They are great machines, I’ve fixed hundreds in my time so I’m well versed on them so to speak.
