    Hi

    I have a diplomat hja6013 fridge freezer.

The freezer is fine but the fridge is warm. It has barely been used since new, and turning on after it has been switched off for months, so assume it wont be a problem with it freezing and blocking any drain holes.

I discovered the fan in the freezer section was not turning and when i turned it, it made a grinding noise.

Opened it up and the middle of the fan was breaking up.

I purchased a generic fan from my local spares shop, and although similar, had different connectors. Obviously connecting the wires will make the fan spin one way or the other. At the moment it is sucking air from the freezer (as opposed to blowing air into the freezer).

Cool air seems to be coming into the fridge now, But is the fan blowing the correct way?

    Thanks

One more thing, it intermitantly flashes the red warning exclamation mark, any ideas what this is trying to tell me?

The fan you’ve got is probably incorrect then in all honesty, it does sound as if it’s running the wrong way.

The only one I can find listed for that mode is here:

Thanks k, will maybe try swapping the terminals, that should reverse the fan eight?
