Hello everyone 😀
There seems to be a ‘stock’ fault with the control PCB’s on these machines, the problem being that the heater relay runs hot. In the past I’ve actually changed the relay on my own machine for a heavier rated one than was originaly fitted. My wife happened upon a notice on the Bosch consumer site today saying that this and other models are now part of a recall. The website states that ‘there is failure of a single soldered joint’ on the control pcb.
The original relay is rated at 125vAC 10A. The one I fitted from RS was rated at 250vAC 10A. This has worked perfectly now for some time. It cost £1.03+vat!
Has anyone had any experience of this?
Thanks for any advice / comments.
