My Beko WM6167W has done a wash and rinse but is not spinning, no movement at all? I have emptied the clothes out and checked the drain pump and there are no obstructions….however when I emptied the drum there was some movement (although sounded very strange like a ticking noise)but the motor was flashing a white light then it stopped moving altogether. Does it need a new motor?
Thanks
Vicki 😀
thanks will have a look…was just wondering if it was the entire motor that needed changing it would be too expensive lol… my repair skills are not that bad as long as the thing is easy enough to get to……
The brushes should be checked but whilst the brushes are off, check the condition of the commutator (the copper bits that the brushes rest upon) as that may be damaged & if it is, a new motor would be needed unless anyone knows someone who does repairs to motors or sells reconditioned motors.
