doorlatch is a rivetted (badly!) assy. with lockout switch.”klixon” part. whole assy. pivots on top mounting to release door. switch is o/c in both positions. only identifier on kain body moulding is”hoover h2 ” (i assume this is just a mould tool No.) had brill service from ukw. public forum DC/ penguin et.al. so would like to support. anyone want to supply? steve@moye.me.uk. thanks

The ‘Door Interlock Assy’ is Part No: 09164138 (Cost around £30)

Martin, thanks for your trouble, i stripped the switch,cleaned /rebuilt /tested-ok. wiring harness goes to a multipin connector onthe programmer,one of the “pos’s” is showing overheating, must be a loose connector hich would account for the “flickering light ” that No.1 son reported ! The things we do for our kids!
