Ok,started with drain/spin fault.New pump and motor brushes fitted. Prog cancel button working ok.Job done decided to do final test for leaks etc..started on a wash prog, filled, started to wash..great.So pressed cancel button, hopeing to select spin. From that moment on it seems to have locked on that wash prog with arrow symbol flashing on display,as if locked on a pause position? Tried numerous attempts to cancel/change prog to no avail.Drained machine, disconnected pcb, turned on/off at mains, you name it I tried it.
There is probably a simple solution to this????

Possibly that was all happening before you even started the remedial work and the customer, not being in the habit of cancelling programmes, had not noticed that aspect and therefore did not mention it to you.
Beko electronics have always been vulnerable to mysterious behaviour for no apparent reason. Not really all that surprising when you look at the mind-boggling complexity of their boards – more chips than Harry Ramsden’s. The boards, as with most other Beko components, did used to be relatively inexpensive. I hope you will find that situation has not changed too much.
Perhaps it could be worth looking to see if there are any “domed” electrolytic capacitors in evidence or a large rectangular blue, grey or yellow plastic one. If you find such a thing, having a value of 1 or 1.5uF desolder it and check the value with a capacitance meter.

Just looked that up on Connect £7.51. Nice. Even main module is only £30.03. ATOTD Beko has a lot going for them.
