VTDOOP drum

    I fitted a drum shaft/bearings/seals & belt a few weeks ago,got called back for a vibration noise & found the drum juddering on the front bearings.I fitted another set and it worked fine has anyone had to fit a new drum to stop this promlem returning

    Was it a genuine kit – I had this problem once with a non genuine kit

    Had same problem with pattern front bearings.
    Fitted genuine no problem since

    These ru44dy heaps of tin implode due to the stress the elastic band puts on the drum. The whole cabinet groans and distorts especially around the bottom kickstrip panel. The front panel drops forward fractionally making the heater duct twist out of line. Then the drum runs almost like driving a car uphill with the brakes on, something just has to give at that point….. 😐

    was at one today where you cant change the drum shaft you need a whole drum answer put it in a skip 18 month old

    If your careful you can prise the riveted shaft off with a screwdiver and fit the screwed shaft done a few now 1st one i tried i punctured the drum.
