Help with FF4DX Hotpoint F/F

Hello all,
I have just got a Hotpoint FF4DX and its doing nothing that it should do. Unplug and turn it back on and I get bleeping and flashing lights, Not sure of the age, Is there still a code on these thing s to tell me the M-date.

Have seen a live feed going into the left hand fridge door. Does anyone know what this lead is for as there is nothing i can see but some magnets for the switch behind the control panel.

Any help in getting this thing going would be great, Have bypassed electrics and motor runs fine, The owner said it was just a warm fridge and cold freezer so my wife decided to buy it off ebay for me to mend i thought it was just iced up but when I looked at it it was dead and now she is not happy..

Any guides or common faults would help me out and keep the wife happy 🙂
