GRRRR caple di604 issues (now resolved)

Just a post concerning our caple di604, this dishwasher has been a constant source of grey hair growth, stress, blood money and in general a bit of a pain in the rear end!! several issues have occured firstly a blocked pump, easily solved but not fun doing so, then the in line heating element went again easily resolved but still no fun and then today it decided to short out the plug sockets of the entire house!!! so upon further investigation it turned out that when the heating element was replaced 2 wires were put back on but the wrong way round!!!!! however the heater was changed approx 4 months ago?? so why did it even work? and why did it only decide to trip today?? in all honesty i dont know the answer all i do know is its working again now. the moral to this story well there are many, 1 always get someone who knows what they are doing to carry out a repair would be a good one, the only good thing to come out of this is if anyone needs to know about this particular machine and things like warning or error lights and bleeps i can help with, also silly things like re setting the programmes etc, however i am certainly NOT qualified to do so therefore any info given is only a guideline and not a replacement for calling a qualified engineer. I only wish I had known someone who knew the answers to many of the qustions i neeeded to ask. rant over…. till next time im sure there will be one 😕
