Keymasterhi my servis washing machine (m3025) was making alot of racket so i replaced the bearings , i even labeled the wires before taking them off the connectors on the drum , when my father replaced the wires somehow he put them on wrong and removed the labels i had put on the wires to make it simple?! …anyways of course we didnt know this until the machine was turned on and a loud bang came from the module , my question to anyone with the knowledge or the same machine is where do the 2 orange and 2 brown wires go that connect to the drum , 1 brown comes up and 1 comes down from the module , the 2 orange wires come from the module numbers 10 – 11 , i’ve been quoted £30 – £80 for the module so i need to get the wiring correct before i proceed , any help givin will be grealty appreciated

KeymasterHi,
When I read the title I just smiled and thought, “yeah if the poor customer has an M3025 they do indeed probably need help” based on my experience of them. That should nicely frame the tone of this post.
The wiring diagrams and tech info from Servis is, shall we say, not the best. Quite often the wiring is not colour coded on the diagram and you have to trace it point to point. That’s not just Servis that do that, a lot of Italian firms do it. I was once told this is because they will use whatever wire they happen to have on the line irrespective of colour during production.
If the module flashed it will be, almost without doubt, totally goosed as they’re not the most reliable at the best of times. We used to change them like sweeties for Servis, every other call seemed to require one especially on the 3025 and it’s brethern, so much so I could have rattled the part number and price off the top of my head until we stopped working for them several months back.
The upshot is that to put it right you’d need a wiring diagram and a module at best. The module we can do, the wiring diagram we’re not allowed to give you by law, blame the EU for that one. 😕
But I’d have to ask, on this machine, why bother? Really it’s not worth the effort in my opinion.

KeymasterBosch mid-range stuff gets a good rating from the guys on here as do Meile, but Meile is out of that price range I’m afraid. 😕
Avoid Servis, Indesit, Ariston, Hotpoint, Candy, Hoover and a slew of other cheap machines.
Other than that, honestly, there’s really not a lot to choose between them in the mid range it seems.
Hope that helps you and sorry if the post seemed a bit brutal, but its the truth as I experience it and I’d far rather give that than lead you astray.
