i know this machine is getting on abit but its works ok but for spin. on pregramme 8 all ok any other programme when it gets to spin the dial spins and the fault code of 8 flashes, any one any ideas?

f8 is the heater realy stuck how does this affect the spin cycle and how do i change it?

If you are getting 8 flashes then in all honesty its not the relay you should be changing, its the machine itself.
Do a search for Indesit and 8 flashes and you will get some idea of the possible causes of the problem.
Spurious error messages are not unknown on Indesit electronics which are very flaky at the best of times. 😥
