    Hi Guys, hope you can help.

    My ovens light will only come on(and heat up)if I give the temp dial a good whacking. The fan comes on, internal light comes on but no heat unless the dial is given a knock.
    Once it comes on it seems to work fine but just never starts well. This problem seems to have coincided with a power cut we had a while back but I cant be sure.

    Ive read different soloutions to similar problems but nothing that seems to fit my problem. Any ideas as to what it may be so I can buy the part?

    Indicative of a bad contact on either the multi-function selector switch or the oven thermostat. Closer investigation by a competent electrician will no doubt be required.

    Isolate completely from the mains supply before investigating. :zap:
