hi all, i am at whits end!

i have been trying to figure out why my dishwasher is leaving dishes and glasses grubby and they have a greasy film to them. when they are left to steam dry it drys hars and crusty once wet it becomes greasy again.
one thing i have noticed is that at the end of the wash there is mucky water left at the bottom up to the outlet level so water is leaving the washer.

i have re plumbed it all, cleaned all the filters etc, added salt and rinse aid and cleaned out with a specified cleaning agent i use the flash powerball tablets this happens on all wash types

    please help

Are the spray arm holes clear?
Is there plenty of water circulation going on in there?
    Does the water get hot?
Are you rinsing the crocks before loading?

yea i took them all out and soaked them and cleaned them
as for circulation im guessing so as you cant see
when i open it after the cycle its roasting inside and all steamy
no not rinsing at all i read that you can have problems if they are to clean to start with

    Hi,

If you have a trawl through this section…

I you might well find the culprit although, off the top of my head, nothing springs to mind other than poor cleaning in general.

Is the residue patchy or uniform?

I think it’s pretty obvious that there’s no water circulation going on in there. Opening and closing the door and noting the position of each spray arm each time you do will establish if they are actually rotating or not.

Now may be a good time also for you to tell us what make and model number dishwasher you have anyway?
