We have an Indesit D41, bit elderly but worked fine until yesterday when wife loaded it up and set it going. Within minutes the floor was flooded and the machine seemed stuck on the first part of its cycle, with the drain pump(?) whirring away. Turning it off and on, resetting, choosing a different programme, all produced the same result, apart from the flooding.
The LH green LED of the four flashes continuously when it’s in this ‘stuck’ mode. If I switch it off for a few minutes then back on, with the knob set to ‘reset’, there’s a single beep, then silence, then the light starts to flash and the pump kicks in. It will stay like that all day.
    Any ideas?

there is water leaked into the base tray caused by overfilling or oversudding. Tilt dishwasher back 45 degrees, the water will come out onto the floor so get a towel ready, if it happens again check components for leaks

Cheers, spot on. I actually found an old thread about the same problem and sorted it earlier. Phew! Bad time to lose the dishwasher, cos I know who’d be at the sink on Sunday!
