    Another teaser, this beast resets fine, base clear, anti-flood fine, no blockages, heater fine etc etc. All it does is drain (stops when door opened by the way) and it will not fill. Power module looks all intact, didn’t look at circulating pump module though….any thoughts please? 😕

    could be gunged up on the water metering device, i had one doing the same thing, and the microswitch would not reset because it was gunged up with mould and scale

    Power module at a guess Martin, maybe check the resistance of the drain pump before fitting though. Did a no heat fault on one of these just before xmas, that was the power module, shame I did not keep the old pcb as it could have been a test swap for you.

    Thanks for that Mark. I’m not so sure the fault lies with that power module though? The reason being, when I ‘cancel the programme’ the drain pump operates as normal (sicasym system) and the machine switches off with the 5 beeps end signal.

    Start another programme and it just drains constantly, stops when you open door so not an anti-flood problem either. 😕

    It’s got me stumped and I really don’t want to go the the expense of buying a module (programme, motor or power) if it doesn’t solve the problem….. 🙁

    Martin , does it fill at the same time ? Have had a few faults where a component goes on the board ( not neccassarily showing any damage ) and the drain pump gets ‘powered’ up when the valve or maybe wash motor fires up. Can’t remember if it has happened on this particular model though i’m afraid .

    No it does not fill Paul..sorry. 🙁 What “board” do you think I should be looking at? The Power Board looks perfect, didn’t look at either the motor board or the programme board mind you. 🙁
