    hi this machine just does short bursts of motor action, i think it could be triac on timer or maybe tacho fault has anyone had this problem or suggest the cause thanks john ps (fd790200017)

    No but i think i changed them b4 i put it out on rental but will check them,can that cause this prob. ?

    Certainly sounds like tacho fault or perhaps connections to it. Had one Bosch a little while back which baffled me until I took the motor apart and found the magnet broken clean in two.
