Sometimes the search facility on here has me tearing my hair out.

Even the advanced search will not bring up anything for +Hotpoint+one+minute or any derivative of that. If I put one minute I get pages and pages of Bosch faults. 🙁

This machine was stuck on one minute with both the WASH & RINSE lights on, still full of water, tumbling merrily after a couple of hours on a shortish wash.

I was able to cancel/reset and it drained, I could also get it to spin, rinse advance on rinse cycles and when set to a wash the heater came on.

Heater, motor etc all megger out fine, the only real problem I can see is that the machine is in a really cold. damp outhouse.

    Any other suggestions?

    Jim.

    EDIT
Of course once I have posted then lo and behold a link to a one minute Hotpoint thread pops up, sadly not relevant to this machine. :rolls:

Usualy the wash element or wiring fault but another engineer told me the dryer element going down to earth can cause it also, i’ve not seen that one myself.

Thanks Johnny, I actually arrived to see the machine stuck like this. Meggered everything right away and motor and both elements are sound. 😕
