    I got called out today because the drum paddle had come off,
    when i looked inside the drum seam had split open and torn along the back.
    The machine was about 2 years old good job he had stopped using it
    has anyone else seen this.

    see it at least once a fortnight, did you find the coin, if not it might be one of the exploding drum machines reported on another thread on here.
