    Hi folks,

Some of the elements that make up the 4 digit display of my Smeg SC 100 oven are never lit, irrespective of the oven settings. As a result, I don’t know what temperature the oven has got to.

I’ve taken the oven out, and see that there is a circuit board around 10 cm by 10 cm, and a 4 digit display connected to to it by 10 or so connecting pins.

Can anyone advise which spare part I should order – the programmer/timer part no ser00072119 (£187), or the display pcb ser 00072105 (£199), or both? Does the programmer/timer include the display? The only picture I’ve seen of it shows it from the reverse side.

Sounds like it’s just the display, but I’d ask Dave to see if he can get a better price on the board as that seems a bit OTT.

    spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk is the address.

    K.
