    Hi all,

    had a call recently from a newlwy installed machine squeeking!

    I asked her what detergents she used and temperatures.

    Ecover / low temps :rolls:

    I mentioned to put it on a 95 with detergent so that will possibly foam up a bit, which seems to have done the trick.

    I take it just water or plant based detergents could dry out the seals :con: who knows, but told her to keep up with the hot washes and let me know!

    Try a bit of grease on the top springs.

    Found out its the front seal between the outer tub and front case, depending on the load it causes it to squeek, rubber against metal.
    stuck a bit of silcon spray on the seal hopefully keep it quiet.
